As Founder and Chief Experience Officer of UXD, Sohrab paces the vanguard in User Experience design by bold, results-driven experiences for clients and their customers. His design vision and client-service expertise has skyrocketed site traffic, conversion rates and online revenues for a wide range of fast growing mid-market retailers.
Before founding UXD, Sohrab worked as a Usability and Design consultant for interactive agencies including iCrossing, And Company, MRM Partners, Genex and Evolve ITV working on brands like Acura, CBS, Nissan, Microsoft, Coca Cola, and GM.
Prior to that he was as an Associate Creative Director at The NFL Digital Media Group, and a Senior Art Director at Fox Broadcasting Company designing websites for The Simpsons, American Idol, and House amongst others.
Sohrab is an avid basketball and beach volleyball player, coaches youth soccer, micro-blogs about new music, and is an award winning filmmaker. He has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Berkeley. He abides in Los Angeles, CA with his dog “The Dude.”
Matthew Bennett, Co-Founder and UXpert at Uxer Design, is an award winning Interactive Designer and Creative Director whose work has been internationally recognized for its forward looking use of design and technology solutions combined with social and creative strategies that communicate across multiple channels.
Matthew has implemented leading edge design strategy for brands and clients including Visa, Adidas, Bank of America, Yahoo!, FOX Broadcasting Company, CBS, Warner Bros. Sony Pictures, Heineken, ConAgra Foods, Nestle, Paramount Pictures, Red Bull, Etnies, Interscope Records, Universal Music Group and many others.
Growing up in Melbourne, Australia Matthew studied Graphic Design and New Media at Swinburne University’s National School of Design and was active in Melbourne’s art and music scene, creating multi-media events and shows in various live venues and public settings.
Matthew began his design career with pioneering interactive services firm Agency.com in its Amsterdam and later, San Francsico offices where he led creative on many multi-national interactive brand accounts. He went on to work for Los Angeles based, Schematic where he produced award-winning work for Sony and Warner Bros.
In 2005 Matthew was recruited as Creative Director at Fox Broadcasting Company in Los Angeles where he spearheaded online entertainment and promotion strategies for all of the networks’ primetime shows including The Simpsons, 24, House and American Idol. At Fox, Matthew managed creative and production on broadband entertainment delivery, video-on-demand, interactive television, mobile and enterprise asset management solutions and online marketing strategy helping the network to begin monetizing content across multiple digital channels.
Having gained a reputation for continually delivering ground-breaking creative and online design strategy, Matthew has been recognized, winning a London International Advertising Award and being nominated for an Interactive Emmy.
Matthew lives in San Francisco with his wife and 2 sons.
